Some New Firsts - September 11th

Well of course through the rest of the evacuation, Mimi spoiled Juliet to death. She bought her some new clothes and her new Baby Einstein jumper exersaucer. This is Juliet's first real experience with an exersaucer. She has a blast in this new toy. She also ate from a spoon for the first time. She seemed to like it but was thrown off cause she didn't know how to swallow it. She did ok with it. Well here are the concluding pictures from our evacuation.

Hurricane Gustav - Aug 30 - Sep 10

For Hurricane Gustav, we took off and went to Aunt Nanny's house. We hung out with Aunt Nanny, Kayla, Chris, and Stephen. We had a blast even though we were roughing it for a while. We played lots of games, tried on Chris' hat and slept all the time. After, we left and headed for Mimi's house. We were there with Maw Cathy, Paw, Uncle Carey, and cousin Noah too. We had fun there too. Here are some photos from those days. Oh, and you can't forget Stanley cat.

My Best Friend - August 25, 2008

This is a visit with Devin and Juliet's best friend Adalyn. They were both rolling around on the floor and chewing on each other's toys. Juliet also tried out Adalyn's jumper and loved it.

Growing Up Very Quickly

Here are more photos from today of Juliet rolling over and holding herself up. She is growing quickly.

Slowly Getting Better

Juliet is no longer contagious. She is slowy getting better. Today she was a little cranky and wanted to lay down with Daddy. So, she stole Mommy's spot in bed. A little later, we took her to the doctor and she is looking great. She is now 14 lbs. 4 oz. and 24 inches. She's our little ham.

A Little Sick Lately

For the last couple of weeks, Juliet has been sick. First, she was battling sinusitis. Then, Thursday morning we had our first trip to the emergency room. She was running fever of 102.5 which is bad for a 3 month old. Well it turns out that she has strep throat. Here is a picture of us leaving from the hospital. If you know Juliet, this isn't surprising. The doctors didn't believe me she was sick.

3 Months Old

Lately we have just been hanging out and having fun. Juliet is getting big and very playful. Here are some photos from the last couple of weeks since we haven't updated!
